- Vehicle information: VIN, make, model, year, mileage, color, and trim data you provide.
- Service records: Maintenance logs, service history, receipts, and recall completion data you enter.
- Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers.
- Usage data: How you interact with the app to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our vehicle maintenance tracking service.
- To send maintenance reminders and recall alerts based on your preferences.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To generate vehicle health reports and maintenance schedules.
- To improve our service and develop new features.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Stripe: For payment processing.
- Supabase: For secure data storage and authentication.
- NHTSA: We query public recall databases using your vehicle information (VIN, make, model, year).
- Service providers: Only if you explicitly connect your account with an auto shop through our platform.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and row-level security policies on our database. Your data is stored on secure, SOC 2 compliant infrastructure.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data at any time through the app.
- Export your data via the Settings page.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Update or correct your information through your account settings.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
We use local storage to save your preferences (theme, units) and authentication tokens. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
